On August 3, 2026, the historic Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv will host a one-of-a-kind experience: a live jazz concert combined with an immersive laser show - presented in Bulgaria for the very first time.

IN JAZZ is an evening where music and light come together in a spontaneous performance under the stars. Featuring original compositions, beloved jazz standards, and real-time improvisation, every moment will be created live on stage. There is no fixed setlist and no possibility of repetition.

✨ For the first time, the laser visuals will become part of the improvisation itself. Light and music will interact in real time, with the lasers responding to every piano phrase, every trumpet note, and every shift in mood and energy throughout the performance.

On stage, the internationally acclaimed jazz artist Bobby Valchev (vocals, trumpet, and virtuoso piano) will be joined by a brass section, a string ensemble, and backing vocalists, creating a rich and expressive sound that blends the energy of jazz with the depth and elegance of orchestral arrangements.
