Στο πλαίσιο του ILISSOSPROJECT 2026 πραγματοποιείται
στις 25 Οκτωβρίου 2026, Κυριακή,
το πρώτο τμήμα της Μεγάλης Πορείας στον σύγχρονο Ιλισσό.
Σε μία συμμετοχική καλλιτεχνική-περιπατητική δράση, περπατάμε μαζί τον Ιλισσό, ένα ποτάμι που υπάρχει και δεν υπάρχει στη σύγχρονη Αθήνα.
Ξεκινάμε από το Ωδείο Αθηνών, χτισμένο στις όχθες του Ιλισσού, και ακολουθούμε τα ίχνη του «χαμένου» ποταμού μέχρι τις σημερινές εκβολές του, στον όρμο Φαλήρου.
Μέσα από το συνειδητό, καλλιτεχνικό περπάτημα και μέσα από την εμπειρία στο πεδίο, ενσώματη και ψυχοσυναισθηματική, διερευνούμε μαζί αυτή την ιδιόμορφη συνθήκη της παρουσίας-απουσίας ενός ποταμού που υπήρξε πριν από την Αθήνα και τώρα κυλά «εγκιβωτισμένος» κάτω από τα πόδια μας.
Με το περπάτημα και την παρουσία μας ξαναβάζουμε συμβολικά τον Ιλισσό στο χάρτη της πόλης του σήμερα.

Participatory artistic walking action
A walk from the Athens Conservatoire to the present-day mouth of the Ilissos River
As part of ILISSOSPROJECT 2026, the first section of the Great Walk along present-day Ilissos will take place on Sunday, 25 October 2026.
In this participatory artistic walking action, we walk together along Ilissos, a river that exists and does not exist in contemporary Athens.
We start from the Athens Conservatoire, built on the banks of Ilissos, and follow the traces of the “lost” river to its present-day mouth, at Faliro Bay.
Through conscious, artistic walking and through our embodied and psycho-emotional experience in the field, we collectively explore this peculiar condition of the presence-absence of a river that existed before Athens and now flows “encased” beneath our feet.
Through our walking and our presence, we symbolically put Ilissos back on the map of today’s city.
