ĊineAmbjent x Science in the City
For our final ĊineAmbjent Film Club session before the festival in October, we’re teaming up with Science in the City for a special event exploring fashion, creativity and sustainability. Join us for a hands-on clothes mending workshop where kids, teens and youths can learn how to repair, customise, and reimagine clothes. No experience is needed – just curiosity and a garment that deserves a second life.
Choose your station:
🪡 Visible Mending – Turn tears and worn patches into works of art using embroidery.
🧵 Sewing Machine Mending – Learn practical techniques to repair and revive your favourite clothes.
After the workshop, we’ll screen Fashion Reimagined (2022). The workshop is limited to 25 participants, but the film screening is open to everyone.
The workshop is open to anyone aged 8+ and the film is recommended for audiences aged 12+.
You’re welcome to join the workshop, the screening, or both.

Għall-aħħar attività taċ-ĊineAmbjent Film Klabb qabel il-festival f’Ottubru qed nikkolaboraw ma’ Science in the City biex nesploraw l-moda, il-kreattività u s-sostenibbilità. Ingħaqad magġna għal sessjoni ta’ taħriġ fuq it-tiswija tal-ħwejjeġ fejn tfal u żgħażagħ jistgħu jitgħallmu jsewwu, jippersonalizzaw u jbiddlu l-ħwejjeġ. L-ebda esperjenza mhi meħtieġa – biss kurżità u ħwejjeġ li ħaqqhom ħajja mill-ġdid.
Agħżel x’tixtieq tagħmel:
🪡 Visible Mending – Biddel il-ħwejjeġ imqatta’ f’xogħlijiet artistitiċi permezz tar-rakkmu.
🧵 Tiswija bil-magna tal-ħjata – Tgħallem modi prattiċi kif issewwi u terġa tagħti ħajja lill-ħwejjeġ favoriti.
Wara s-sessjoni ta’ taħriġ, se nuru l-film Fashion Reimagined (2022). Is-sessjoni ta’ taħriġ għandha limitu ta’ 25 persuna, imma l-wirja tal-film miftuħa għal kulħadd.
Tista’ tingħaqad għas-sessjoni tat-taħriġ, il-wirja tal-film jew iż-żewġ attivitajiet.
