Ĉikago – An Exhibition by Rafael Andrés Torres

Ĉikago explores the city as both an aesthetic form and a structured experience. Through minimalist, almost abstract imagery, the exhibition presents two perspectives—one that embraces the beauty, rhythm, and openness of urban life, and another that invites a deeper look at the forces that shape our movements within it.

Using Chicago as a visual framework, Ĉikago speaks to the universal experience of urban life—the way cities seem to open paths yet subtly guide, contain, and influence those within them. The exhibition unfolds across carefully curated images, inviting viewers to engage with what the city presents on the surface… or to look deeper.
