Útisýning Dans Afríka Iceland fimmtudaginn 20 ágúst á regnboganum á Skólavörðustíg kl 16:30
Sýningin laðar áhorfendur að með lifandi trommuslætti og orkumiklum afrískum dansi og svo getur fólk á öllum aldri geta tekið þátt í að læra nokkur dansspor eftir sýninguna.
Við bjóðum velkomin Bountou Kouyate, Mariama Bangoura, Mohamed Lamine Camara og Mohamed Soumah sem verða nýkomin hingað til lands beint frá Gíneu í gegnum menningarskipti styrkt af Erasmus+ milli Listaháskóla Íslands og Ballet Merveilles de Guinée þar sem Mamady Sano, stofnandi Dans Afríka Iceland, er listrænn stjórnandi. Einnig koma fram dansarar og trommarar úr sýningarhópi Dans Afríka Iceland hér á landi.

Outdoor performance by Dans Afríka Iceland on thursday August 20 on the rainbow street Skólavörðustígur at 4:30PM
The show attracts audiences with live drumming and energetic African dance and then people of all ages can participate in learning a few dance steps after the show.
We welcome Bountou Kouyate, Mariama Bangoura, Mohamed Lamine Camara and Mohamed Soumah who will have just arrived in Iceland directly from Guinea through a cultural exchange funded by Erasmus+ between the Iceland Academy of the Arts and Ballet Merveilles de Guinée where Mamady Sano, founder of Dans Afríka Iceland, is the artistic director. Dancers and drummers from the Dans Afrika Iceland performance group will also perform.
This event is free in collaboration with Reykjavik summer city
