Éigse Terenure - Poetry Event

We are especially delighted to welcome our guest of honour John F Deane, prize winning poet and novelist. John is the founder of Poetry Ireland, Poetry Ireland Review, and the Daedalus Press. He is a member of Aosdana and recognized across Europe for his contributions to poetry. John will impart nuggets of his poetic wisdom to inspire the eager poets among you and delight us by reading some of his work.

Eileen Gogan will treat us to poetry set to music, while Siobhan Daffy will turn our attention in a unique way to poetry’s role as an aid to mental health by way of a Sound Bath.

Finally our own PoetsCorner, (a WhatsApp based poetry appreciation/writing group), will announce the results of a poetry writing competition and present readings from the work of 4 published poets, as they appeared in the 4 volumes of poetry, produced by the PoetsCorner to date.
