About this Event
Come and join us for doubles badminton at the sports hall at Chestnut Grove Academy in Balham.
Only 1 minute walk from Balham tube and overground stations (entrance to the sports hall is on the side of the academy off of Boundaries Road).
Our Saturday social sessions welcome players of improver-intermediate+. We play on three courts with plastic shuttles (Yonex Mavis 600 / 2000) and rotate games to keep things fun and varied. We do our best to match players of similar ability, while also balancing games so everyone can improve and enjoy a good challenge.
We are a chilled, friendly group whilst still competitive in a friendly way.
We play for 2 hours - which includes setup/clearing out the hall - please note we must be out the hall by 2pm latest to allow the next bookings to arrive on time.
Come along to have fun, improve your game, make new friends, and keep fit.
Please bring drinking water with you to stay hydrated, and bring your own rackets.
You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing, and is recommend you warm up and stretch at the start and end of the session. The club nor the academy will be liable for any injury or loss to personal possessions at any time.
