Come and enjoy the presentation and official book launch of "¡Todos a bailar! A folklórico alphabet book," a children's bilingual book. It will be a fun and cultural experience where kids can immerse themselves in the vibrant world of folklórico dance while uniquely discovering the alphabet.

Del Alma Publications, in conjunction with the Laredo Center for Arts, is pleased to host Dr. Gabriela Mendoza-García, folklorista, scholar, and debut children's book author. Dr. Mendoza-García has many years of training and experience teaching traditional Mexican folklórico dance. She is the director of the Gabriela Mendoza-García Ballet Folklórico dance school and company in Laredo, Texas, where she teaches children and adults. Her company consists of seasoned dancers with many years of experience performing this art form. She choreographs traditional Mexican folklórico dance pieces as well as works inspired by her scholarly research.

Dr. Mendoza-García will present her book, followed by dance performances by members of her youth dance company. A book signing will conclude the afternoon's event. Books will be available for purchase that day and can also be preordered on the publisher’s website at www.delalmapublications.com.
