This month, we are centering Womxn of Color musicians at La Peña! For this BAILA, we’re featuring the renowned salsa group Las Guaracheras! A night of live salsa, bachata, and community, centering inclusivity and joy!

Come join us at BAILA for a lively evening of live salsa music and dancing! We'll have dedicated dance floors for both Bachata and Salsa lovers. Our event is open to all ages!
Enjoy easy-to-follow gender-inclusive salsa and bachata dance classes. Arrive early to savor delicious Mexican bites from Los Cilantros 🌿, our next door neighbor. We have TWO dedicated dance floors where you can sway and twirl all night long with our resident DJs DJ Ron and DJ José Ruíz.

BAILA is your community dance party that welcomes all! We are redefining dance spaces by centering consent culture and prioritizing mutual respect and inclusivity.
• Free, Gender-Inclusive Salsa & Bachata Classes led by In Lak'Ech Dance Academy (no experience or partner needed)
• Live Salsa music by Carlos Xavier Salsa Band.
• Two dance floors: Ritmos Tropicales with DJ José Ruíz (@mundomuzik) and El Colmado de la Bachata with DJ Ron (@djronpalma).
