Zum Schneider, the beloved German beer hall that brought the true Bavarian spirit to the East Village for over 20 years, returns with its legendary Oktoberfest. This year, the celebration takes place at a stunning new waterfront location on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint.We bring you everything you’d expect from Munich, right here by the East River:
🍺 Exclusive Beers
Just like in Munich, beer is served in 1-liter glass mugs. The selection features Paulaner and Weihenstephaner, along with Andechs and HB Traunstein, served exclusively at Zum Schneider.
🥨 Classic Dishes
The menu includes Bavarian traditional favorites such as Haxn (roasted pork shank), Obazda (cheese spread), imported giant pretzels, and Steckerlfisch (whole fish grilled over charcoal).
🎶 Live Entertainment & Atmosphere
Servers in real Lederhosen and Dirndls (many German-speaking), a fully decked out room styled after Munich’s beer halls, and nonstop music from Mösl Franzi & the JaJaJas, playing traditional tunes and International Wiesn hits.
