Brazilian Zouk is an amazing partner dance taking the world by storm.Our teachers are passionate about it and want to share their knowledge and love of the dance style with you.
The classes are open to beginners, and more advanced dancers.
What to expect
This course covers fundamental movements and techniques in Brazilian Zouk.
These classes are aimed at teaching and inspiring Zouk dance for the social floor.
The course includes a warm up to counts and music followed by a partner work combination.
It's an eight-week course with an hour-long lesson each week.
The classes are rotational, so you do not need to bring a partner.
Time: Thursday evenings 8pm
Dates: 22nd August to 10th October 2024
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon St, Hamilton East
What to bring
A water bottle and a warm layer for after class.
Please keep in mind our venue does not have food, so if you are coming straight from work etc tuck
a snack in your bag.
What to wear
No black soled street shoes, sneakers, boots, heavy or grippy shoes.
Ladies, flat shoes are recommended. Please see our teachers if you need advice on footwear.
Cost:
Casual pricing $10 per class, or $60 for the full course.

16 x lessons or 2 courses $110
24 x lessons or 3 courses $150
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer on the day.
Parking
There is no onsite parking. Parking is available in the street around the church.
