Zoo Palooza - Camp River Ranch

Girl Scouts has partnered with the Smithsonian Zoo!

Join us for an animal dance party and an up-close-and-personal LIVE watch event featuring animals and handlers, to learn how the zoo cares for all those creatures.

Shared by kids all over the country at the same time!

Parents - during the event, learn more about Girl Scouts in your area, meet and chat with local volunteers and staff to get your questions answered, and explore how you can build community and friendship with us!

Before you go, take a walk by the lake and see what wild things live in our woods!

Info: Come on in, get settled and begin with a coloring activity

Info: Join our staff and local Girl Scout helpers in dancing out the wiggles and showing off your best animal moves. Roaring welcomed!

Info: A nut-free snack and juicebox/water will be served

Info: Watch the Zoo keepers introduce and share animals from the Smithsonian Zoo in Washington DC. Learn behavior and habitat information while getting up close and personal with the animals the Zoo cares for.

Info: Shake it out and sing along to some fun camp games and songs to end the event with giggles and wiggles!
