THE ZOO CITY HYBRID 🐆We’re excited to announce the first ever Zoo City Hybrid, hosted by GRIT Training Co. at the Zoo City Sportsplex.
This partner race combines running and functional fitness in a HYROX-style format designed to challenge athletes of all levels.
Race Format
• Teams of 2
• ~800–1000m run
• Followed by a functional fitness station
• Repeat this flow 8 times
Athletes can choose between:
FULL RACE
The complete challenge with full run distances and RX movements.
HALF RACE
Half the running distance with modified weights, distances, and reps — perfect for those wanting a more accessible option.
Whether you’re competitive or just looking for a fun challenge with a friend, this event is for you.
