COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE #4Project Update & Discussion on Smart Growth
Palm Springs is updating its Zoning Code to plan for the future while maintaining the inclusive, vibrant character of our community. The City’s zoning code hasn’t been fully updated since 1988. The needs of our community have evolved, and these outdated regulations make it harder to build homes, businesses, and community spaces. Our essential workers, like servers,
teachers, and nurses, should be able to afford to live in Palm Springs yet limited open land and complex rules make housing more expensive.
We want your ideas and input in tackling these challenges. Please join us at one our meetings to help shape our city’s future.
