Zombie Apocalypse Medicine Meeting 2026
About this Event
Join us in Eureka Springs for an exciting conference about the science, medicine, art and culture of managing apocalyptic risks, in collaboration with the Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival. This year's theme is "The Zombification of Education." Our invited talks will focus on the tension between education and control, the future of learning and curiousity, the evolving role of universities, and how to leverage human capacities for intergenerational transmission of knowledge for continued innovation. However, we welcome talks on all traditional ZAMM topics including parasitology, public health, manipulation, and morbid curiousity.
Arrive early for the Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival (Oct 21-24), and the Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl (Oct 24) featuring cross-over events with ZAMM and plenty of opportunities for apocalyptic fun.
