From the creator of drag-king Jimmy Finger, (Melbourne's favourite Rockabilly Boganite) comes Zo Star's new hyper-fem drag-QUEEN character, Isabella Box.
This show is a daring, hilarious and kinky romp and an absolute tonic for anyone who's ever had a broken heart...been love-bombed, ghosted or gaslighted.
Despite being literally locked in a box, Isabella's spirit cannot be contained. 'Sealed to Prevent Tampering' is a deeply human, yet joyfully oblivious retelling of her ride up the relationship escalator with narcissistic-leaning Max Hunt. But Isabella Box is a wild spirit that cannot be easily tamed and she’s not about to roll over and let him dim her fucking shine.
A woman of grace, grit and glitter - she sings, dances and laughs her way beyond his emotional constraints (often by using restraints of her own), to show that beneath the sequins and sass, burns a fiercely steadfast spirit, loyal, luminous and a living testament to emotional resilience.
As is true to Zo Star’s unique style, this show demonstrates her extraordinary gift for character work, physical humour and brave storytelling - striking just the right blend of hilarity and heart, with a quintessential revealing twist before landing squarely in genuine authenticity.
