2025 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge Dinner

The Australian Pinot Noir Challenge is a celebration of Pinot Noir wines from across the country, and you can be part of it at a very special dinner at Maison Bâtard on Tuesday, 7 October 2025.

Join us for an evening of sensational flavours and fine company as you experience 15 of this year’s contenders for Australia’s Best Pinot Noir Wine, hosted at the Lucas Group’s flagship fine dining restaurant, Maison Bâtard. The evening will feature a five-course menu showcasing contemporary Australian dishes, informed by the season and crafted with skillful restraint and classic technique.

The night will be hosted by the charming Ed Merrison from Vininspo, alongside Chair of Judges Tom Carson, with winemakers, vignerons and wine lovers coming together to celebrate this year’s Australian Pinot Noir Challenge winners.

Pinot Noir is widely regarded as one of the most elegant, captivating and ethereal grape varieties. It is now the fourth most popular and fourth most produced red wine variety in Australia.
