► A two-hour lecture by Michael Lavocah on the music and style of Osvaldo Pugliese and contemporaries, in collaboration with Orquesta Típica La Barra.

Michael Lavocah is an internationally recognised expert of Argentine tango. With his in-depth knowledge on the music of the Golden Age of tango, he is a born storyteller. In his lectures he connects the dancers to the musicians who created this beautiful music by telling something of their stories and explaining the relationship between their lives and their music. He is also the author of several standard works on Golden Age orchestras and an internationally renowned DJ.
In this unique collaboration, La Barra will enliven Michael's lecture live and enrich it with typical tango examples, songs and excerpts. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
