Join All Ways Writing Collective & local illustrator Dalia Peralta in this fun-filled workshop to make your very own zine through collaging methods. We'll provide magazines, paper, scissors, and glue - no experience or other materials necessary.

What is a Zine? A zine is a small-circulation, self-published work that is usually made by a single person or a small group. Zines are often photocopied and can include text, images, artwork, and other creative materials. The term "zine" is short for "fanzine", which is a combination of the words "fan" and "magazine." Zines are often made for the love of creating, rather than for profit. They can be a way for people to share information about things they are passionate about, or to challenge the status quo. Zines can be silly or serious, and can cover a wide range of topics, from comics to politics to personal stories.
