Zine Making Workshop: 90's Nostalgia
About this Event
Inspired by the Barbican Music Library exhibition, “,” we’re teaming up with Mental Fight Club and brilliant artist and illustrator Richy K Chandler for an exclusive Zine Making Workshop.
You’ll learn the foundations of DIY zine culture and create your own unique piece to take home.
No prior art or writing experience is needed— all you need to bring is your imagination and a love of nostalgia—we’ll provide the rest!
Choose your session:
Workshop A: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Workshop B: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
Mental Fight Club is a Southwark-based charity providing inspirational creative events and projects. They run the Dragon Café In The City sessions in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London, and also their flagship project The Dragon Café.
Richy K. Chandler is a London based writer, illustrator and comic creator. He has published comic strips, children's books, and contributes to magazine illustrations.
