Zine-Making Night

Sketch, collage, and fold your own mini-magazines while enjoying a drink! We'll have a whole table full of zine-making supplies for you to get creative with—including paper, stamps, markers, colored pencils, magazines, curated cutouts from magazines, and more.

Zines are also a great way to just get your creative juices flowing. Not sure what to create? Don't worry—we'll have lots of inspiration and also prompts to help get you started.

If you're new to making zines, we'll also have instructions on how to make a no-staples zine as well as templates available.

What is a zine?

A zine (short for fanzine or magazine) is a DIY self-publication, usually made on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or printer. They are a great way to share every day knowledge and build community. We are all experts in something – what do you want to share with the world? Maybe it's a formula for creating the perfect road trip. The best spots in your neighborhood. Or, just what's making you happy right now. It can be silly, philosophical, information, political – or something else entirely.
