ZERO GRAVITY YOGA is an anti-gravity class which uses both the ground and the support of a suspended 5m silk hammock to transform traditional yoga & pilates into a multi dimensional experience.Zero Gravity Yoga is a fusion of traditional and modern supported yoga, pilates & flexibility poses, body conditioning and relaxation breathing techniques in a unique zero gravity flying aerial class.
Zero Gravity Yoga helps you to improve flexibility and build strength. It works the core, the bodies centre of gravity, helps decompress the spine eases tight joints, releases muscular tension as well as stimulating creativity and energy in the body. By using the hammock your body has to work harder to control the material and find your centre of gravity.
I have over 300 hours of aerial training in; aerial yoga, aerial pilates, aerial sling, yoga trapeze and hoop and this class brings a mixture of all of those into a flying fitness and floating relaxation session.
GROUP CLASSES
MONDAYS 6.15pm
Classes run in 6 week terms at a cost of £85 per term or, where space is available, £15 for a single session.
Students ideally need to have completed at least one term of Yoga Trapeze before joining this advanced class.
Places must be booked and paid for in advance as spaces are limited.
Please note Gravity Yoga UK’s classes are unsuitable for children, during pregnancy, for anyone who suffers with high or low blood pressure, anyone with heart disease, has glaucoma, anyone who has undergone surgery in the last 6 months or for anyone with some injuries.
