UTC-04:00Location
First Congregation Sons of Israel | Augustine, FL
To celebrate America's 250th and the music that has influenced so many, local favorite Yael "Zaza" Flamenca performs old American classics, such as "Sixteen Tons" and "Tennessee Waltz," playing them with Latin rhythms in arrangements inspired by music around the world. These "old favorites" are transformed into a lively, cross-cultural concert. Joining ZaZa will be master guitarist Gabriel Hermida.
A composer, singer, actress, and musician, Zaza has roots in France and Israel and has performed worldwide, singing in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew. Her music spreads across many genres, including Gypsy Jazz, French music, Flamenco, Jazz, and Latin. Yael earned a Master of Jazz Music at Queens College in New York in 2014.
