YVPS3'S Career Connections Kick-Off

Join community and industry leaders to learn about YVPS3’s region-wide Work-Based Learning platform. Attendees will learn more about the work YVPS3 is doing with local school districts to build courses and career pathways, and how industry partners can get involved in creating meaningful opportunities for students to explore potential careers.

This event is focused on industry partners and the development of internships and other work-based learning opportunities that are practical and valuable for the business community. Highlights include a presentation by Erik Williams of Vail Valley Works on the Youth Apprenticeship program in the Eagle Valley—an approach that may offer a promising model for the Yampa Valley—as well as an introduction to YVPS3’s 2026 pilot Summer Internship Program (where YVPS3 will pay for and support an intern placed at your business)!
