YUUNYNJ NASW Service Event: VISIONS - Arts & Crafts and Ice Cream Social

Year Up United invites you to participate in our second Service Week volunteer event in partnership with VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

125 West 23rd Street (Between 7th & 8th Ave)
New York, NY 10010

During this event, volunteers will spend time with seniors at the VISIONS Older Adult Center, which serves adults ages 60 and older who are blind or visually impaired.

Volunteers will help facilitate a fun and engaging afternoon that includes:
🎨 An Arts & Crafts activity
🍨 An Ice Cream Social
🤝 Social interaction and community engagement with seniors

Founded in 1926, VISIONS is dedicated to helping individuals who are blind and visually impaired live independent and active lives through rehabilitation, support services, and community programming.

This event is an opportunity to:

• Bring joy and meaningful connection to seniors
• Support an impactful nonprofit organization
• Represent the community through compassion and community engagement

Sometimes the greatest impact comes from simply showing up, spending time, and creating moments of connection.
