OmniArts Nebraska is thrilled to celebrate the Winter season with Yuletide FRIGHT FEST! Originally conceived by Jason St. Sauver, the Fright Fest celebrates the longstanding tradition of coming together to share spooky stories during the darkest part of winter, when the sun seems to be gone forever, and the cold has reached your bones.Scare those holiday blues away with eerie new works by a wide variety of playwrights, authors, and poets, including interpretations of Edgar Allan Poe's THE RAVEN, adapted by James Perry, and NEVER BET THE DEVIL YOUR HEAD; original works from D. Chappelle, Abhisek Bhattacharya, Amber Fitzsimmons, and Jason St. Sauver; as well as some well-loved contemporary classic spooky tales.
The cast includes KT Hoppe, Dana Rabe, Amelia Roth, Danielle Westerhoff, Dave Chappelle, Penny Carter, Paige Patton, Tye Chappelle, Amber Fitzsimmons, Amy Yungwirth, Casandra Dufresne, Scott Clark, Anthony Delaney, Christa Dunker, Cecilia Burkhart, Barbara Barron, and Stephanie Porter.
Yuletide FRIGHT FEST is directed by Jillian Carter and Christian Novotny.
Doors open at 6:30pm, with snacks and refreshments available.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged.
