Spreading Holiday Cheer: The Suil Crow Yule Gift Giving Program
The spirit of the holidays is defined by the warmth we share with our neighbors. This year, we are honored to announce the return of our Yule Gift Giving Program for its 5th year, a community-driven initiative dedicated to ensuring that every child in need experiences the magic and wonder of the season.
Last year, thanks to the incredible heart and soul of our community, we were able to provide 527 gifts to local children from Rockport, Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, and Rowley. These gifts supported families navigating low incomes or unexpected hardships, proving that when we come together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of our youth.
How to Participate
Whether you are looking to lend a hand or are in need of a little extra support this year, here is how you can get involved:
Requesting Assistance: Registration for families seeking holiday assistance will open on October 1st. A registration link will be provided across our social media platforms and website. This year, our primary focus will be on supporting families residing within the Gloucester area ….. our new community that we will be joining in May.
The Giving Tree: Starting November 1st, our shop will feature a special Yule Tree adorned with the first names of local children, their ages and anything they are in need of. Community members are invited to visit us, select a name from the tree, and purchase a gift to help fulfill a holiday wish and return it to the shop wrapped and tagged from Santa. This continues the magic as the parent(s) won’t even know what the item(s) are.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to spread holiday cheer and provide a helping hand to those in need. The holidays can be a challenging time for many, but through the collective kindness of Gloucester residents, we can ensure that the season remains a time of joy, light, and community connection.
We look forward to working alongside you once again to make this year’s Yule Gift Giving our most impactful one yet.
