Join Yui, a Japanese chef and sushi enthusiast, for a hands-on 2 hour sushi workshop 15 minutes from Glasgow City Centre. Whether you're a complete begginer or just want to sharpen your skills, this is a relaxed, fun and genuinely rewarding afternoon in the kitchen.

Sushi is one of Japan's most iconic food traditions and once you know the basics, it's easier than you think. Yui will guide you through everything from scratch, sharing the techniques she grew up with, so you can recreate these dishes confidently at home.

What will you make:

Sushi Rice- learn to cook and season Japanese rice from scratch, the foundation of every great sushi dish

Kappa Maki(Cucumber roll)- a clean, simple roll to master the fundamentals of rolling techniques.

Dragon Roll- prawn tempura, avocado, cucumber, Nori seaweed, and tobiko (vegan Caviar Seaweed Pearls)

All dishes are made by you, guided step by step throughout.

Session Timeline:

12:00- Welcome, introduction& kitchen briefing

12:10- Sushi rice cooking begins; ingredients prep

12:50- Rice seasoned and ready

13:00- Rolling begins (Kappa maki & Dragon roll)

13:30- Sit down and enjoy everrything you've made with Japanese Green Tea

14:00 End of session

Cancellation Policy

We understand plan can change. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event will recieve a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Minimum Numbers

This workshop requires a minimum of 6 participants to go ahead. If this number is not reached, we will notify all registered participants by email at least 48 hours before the event and issue a full refund.
