*Duelists in North America will pay $22.50 to receive five (5) booster packs of the most recently released booster set and registration in the Regional Qualifier.
Regional Qualifier tournaments are conducted as Advanced Format, Constructed Deck, Swiss Round events. Decks must be constructed according to the latest Advanced Format guidelines (see here for more information: https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/#limited_adv).
Regional Qualifiers will only play Swiss Rounds, with prizes awarded at the end of the final Round of Swiss. Each Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Match will be a best 2-out-of-3 Duel with a 45-minute time limit.
Swiss Round Format for the Regional Qualifier:
4-8 Players: 3 Rounds of Swiss
9-16 Players: 4 Rounds of Swiss
17-32 Players: 5 Rounds of Swiss
33-64 Players: 6 Rounds of Swiss
65-128 Players: 7 Rounds of Swiss
129-256 Players: 8 Rounds of Swiss
Number of Participants are based on how many total participants are enrolled in the tournament once registration closes. All Duelists added to the event after registration closes should not affect the number of Swiss Rounds.
PRIZING
In addition to the five (5) booster packs each Duelist receives upon entering the tournament, prize distribution will be as follows:
-Top 8-ranked active Duelists after the final Round of Swiss each receive a Regional Qualifier Game Mat.
-Top 4-ranked active Duelists after the final Round of Swiss each receive a Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Card Case.
-Invites to 2025 World Championship Qualifier tournaments are awarded based on the total number of Duelists entered in the Regional Qualifier, according to this list:
4-49 Players: 4 Invites
50-99 Players: 8 Invites
100-149 Players: 16 Invites
150-199 Players: 24 Invites
200-299 Players: 32 Invites
300-499 Players: 48 Invites
500+ Players: 64 Invites
Only active Duelists (Duelist who have not dropped from the tournament) are eligible for additional prizing and invites.
Invites are determined based on the standings after the final round of Swiss. All Duelists who receive invites must complete the World Championship Qualifier Invite Form before leaving Four Horsemen and prior to receiving any prizes. Forms will be collected by Four Horsemen and emailed to KDE-US. If a Duelist who has already received an invite to a 2025 World Championship Qualifier tournament earns another invite, the invite does not pass down. Duelists are still required to completely fill out an Invite Form for the current event.
