Join us on February 27 for a groovy evening of jazz on campus! Two fantastic jazz combos led by Kent Engelhardt and Glenn Schaft will perform their lively repertoires inside Spotlight Theater.
Engelhardt’s quintet will perform “Little Sunflower” by Freddie Hubbard, “Veird Blues” by Miles Davis, and “Pent Up House” by Sonny Rollins. Schaft’s trio will feature “Midnight Creeper” by Lou Donaldson, “Autumn Leaves” by Joseph Kosma, Schaft’s compositions “Groundhawg” and “Tin Man’s House,” as well as his arrangement of John Coltrane’s “Naima.”
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and entry is free and open to the public!
