YSA Pop-Up Skatepark at Cinco de Mayo on Phelps

In collaboration with Thrive Mahoning Valley, this free, community-focused event will temporarily transform a section of the venue into a skatepark designed for skateboards, BMX bikes, scooters, in-line skates, and roller skates.

The event will create a safe and welcoming environment for riders of all ages and skill levels, while raising awareness and support for YSA's mission to develop and maintain a free, public skatepark in the city of Youngstown. By activating the park in this way, we aim to showcase how a dedicated skatepark can bring new energy, recreation opportunities, and community engagement to this public space.
