3rd Annual Ypsi Vegan Fest Returns to Historic Downtown Ypsilanti YPSILANTI Mich. – The third annual Ypsi Vegan Fest presented by VegMichigan is on Sunday Sept. 14 from 11am - 4pm at 301 W. MIchIgan Avenue Ypsilanti.
Everyone is invited to attend this free admission family-friendly event whether you are completely new to plant-based eating or a seasoned vegan. The event features some of the best plant-based food Michigan has to offer and will feature over 30 vendors including restaurants food trucks caterers specialty items sustainable shopping and nonprofits including animal adoption sanctuaries and wellness organizations. There will also be a “kids zone” with chalk art and bubble play.
Enjoy informative talks and cooking demonstrations throughout the entire day under the presentation tent. Registered dietitian nutritionist Kelly Wilson from Trinity Health along with other presenters will share insights about the value of eating more plant-based and tips for adding more plant-based meals to your life.
“This event isn’t just for vegans it’s for everyone who loves delicious food” said the event organizer Jen Eastridge.
This year’s Ypsi Vegan Fest is presented by VegMichigan a local nonprofit focused on promoting the health environmental and ethical benefits of a plant-based diet.
