#YouthCulture: E-cigarettes 101 addresses the growing concern of e-cigarette use among youth. This program is intended for educators, health professionals, parents, other non-profit organizations, and any one else who serves youth in their personal or professional lives. This program is presented at no charge to attendees.

Participants will explore consequences and health effects of e-cigarette use including its impact on adolescent brain development. This session includes the latest research, examines the risk factors for use, and the protective factors that help prevent use.
A discussion on strategies to increase those protective factors and to support empowering youth to make healthy decisions will be covered. Participants will be equipped with tools and resources to support ongoing conversations.
We are limited to 55 participants. Sign up today to reserve your spot. If the session is full, we will contact you and let you know that we have added you to a waiting list and you will also be notified first of any upcoming sessions.
There will be snacks and door prizes. Professional contact hours from North Carolina Addiction Specialist Professional Practice Board (NCASPPB) are available. This program is presented at no charge to attendees.
