About this Event

We believe that dreams are an important resource for a community and are excited to invite you to Youth Worker DreamLab! In this In-Person event, we invite youth homelessness system advocates and people who care about creating beautiful futures for young people to spend time dreaming together, unlocking new insights, creatively processing, and imagining new possibilities together.

DreamLab is an experimental event using Social Dreaming and artistic methods to unlock new ways of thinking together. This is a space where we can use our collective dreams and center play, imagination and creativity in the face of despair, burnout and stuckness. Participants will leave with new ideas, deeper understanding and closer relationships with others who want to end, not just manage, youth homelessness.

This event will run from 3:30-7, and our agenda will focus on the following sections:

• Social Dreaming Matrix: sharing dreams and associations to illuminate subconcious themes
• Collective art processing: using art and discussion to make meaning
• Intervention design: getting truly creative together around youth homelessness
• Shared meaning making and closing

We want DreamLab to be accessible to all youth workers! If you have access to professional development funds through your organization, we would appreciate any paid tickets so that we can offset event costs. If not, please grab a free ticket, because we want you there no matter what!
