Youth STEAM Development Workshop
About this Event
Free Youth S.T.E.A.M. Workshop at Cossitt Library!
BDPA Memphis is partnering with Cossitt Library to bring a free hands-on workshop to Memphis youth, and it's going to be a great time!
Two sessions. One amazing afternoon.
First, we're diving into the computer science behind online gaming with our Gamified Computer Science: Networking session, discovering why clicking fast isn't always enough and how the internet actually works behind the scenes of the games you love.
Then we're getting creative with Game Art & Design, taking inspiration from character customization in games like Fortnite to design and animate original game characters using professional sprite sheet templates.
No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and creativity!
