Youth Spring Bass Classic
Calling all youth come fish one of the biggest Bass events for the youth in the state on May 17th @potholes reservoir. Tournament will run out of Mardon Resort. Special Thanks to Mardon Resort, Nixion's Marine, and Grant County
Blast off for the older Division will be 6am drivers meeting 530am.
Blast off for younger Division will be 7am with a driver meeting after blast off for older division roughly 620 630am. All rules will be gone over at drivers meeting and updated on the Day at the Lake page as the event draws closer.
Unsure on the plan for divisions yet. We may just run as 1 large event even though the flyer says 2 divisions. Just depends on signups. Weigh in times will be between 1pm-2pm (Firm time TBT). Captains are ALLOWED to fish with the kids as a 3-person team, 1 captain and 2 kids fishing.
Small entry fee for the kids more of a place holder as all entry fees returned as placement prizes, Big Fish prizes, awards, and each kid will go home with a goodie bag of fishing gear/baits/swag. If any local bait companies want to get involved, please reach out to [email protected]

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CAPTAINS FOR THIS EVENT. If you are willing to donate your time as a captain, we will have captain's prizes given away at random. Each captain will get an awesome Day at The Lake Fishing Jersey to show off to your friends. This is seriously such a great time for the youth in our state, please consider helping out.
Pre-registration is required for this event once we deem it to be full and go through our insurance we will not be allowed to adjust the number of entrants.
Most are aware but if you are not Nixons Marine will be hosting a BIG BASS event on May 16th where they are giving away at least $70k in prizes with the biggest prize a 2026 SKEETER. This event will have some of the best bass anglers in the state in attendance and a great place for your kids to watch some of the best in the state battle it out to win a new Skeeter. I encourage all parents to bring the kids by and hang out Saturday as Washington State Anglers will be sure to share some tips and tricks with the kids.
