Soapstone Carving Workshop for Youth

Suggested Ages: 5 – 17 years

Sign Up Now for one of our FREE Youth Soapstone Carving Sessions APRIL 12-13th at the Northwest Art Alliance Best of the Northwest Show!

Youth will have an opportunity to combine handiwork, mental focus and three-dimensional thinking during the workshop as our instructors guide participants through the process of shaping this beautiful, natural material into a figurine to take home. The necessary tools will be provided.

2 Daily Sessions:

• Saturday Morning session: 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Saturday Afternoon session: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
• Sunday Morning session: 10:30am - 12:30pm
• Sunday Afternoon session: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Though the youth classes are free, parents or guardians with children attending this class will need to pay admission to the art show. Admission is $3 in advance and $5 the day of the event for ages 13 & over. Children 12 & under are free.. Tickets are good for both days of the event. Learn more and buy tickets HERE
