Delta Sculling Center Summer Youth Programs Delta Sculling Center is excited to offer a variety of free and low-cost summer youth programs designed to get kids active, build confidence, and introduce them to the incredible experience of rowing on the Delta!
Whether a young person is brand new to rowing or looking for a deeper summer experience, we have something for everyone ages 11–17.
🚣 Youth Learn-to-Row (FREE)
Perfect for first-time rowers! No experience is needed. Youth will learn the basics of rowing in a fun, supportive environment while building confidence and trying something new on the water.
Dates:
June 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 OR July 1
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Ages: 11–17
🚣 3-Day Rowing Camps ($150)
These short, action-packed camps are ideal for youth who want a deeper rowing experience. Great for both beginners and returning rowers!
Camp Dates:
June 2–4
June 9–11
June 16–19
June 23–25
July 21–23
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Cost: $150
Ages: 11–17
🧪 STEM to Stern 2-Week Full-Day Camp (FREE)
A unique, immersive experience for youth entering 6th–8th grade, combining rowing, STEM learning, swimming lessons, creative activities, and daily field trips in a safe and engaging environment.
Dates: July 6–17 - TWO WEEKS
Time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: FREE
Ages: 6th–8th grade
Participants will experience:
✔ Rowing on land and on the water
✔ Hands-on STEM learning
✔ Creative expression
✔ Swimming lessons
✔ Daily field trips
Transportation & Financial Assistance Available
Delta Sculling Center is committed to making these opportunities accessible. Transportation assistance may be available for select programs, and we encourage families or partner organizations to reach out if access support is needed.
