Youth Printmaking: Make your own Wrapping Paper and Gift Tags

This year, the wrapping can be just as special as the gift inside.
Young artists ages 7–12 are invited to spend a Saturday morning in the Hughes Children’s Studio with Bascom educator Caryn Raming, exploring stamping and printmaking techniques to design their very own wrapping paper and gift tags. Kids will carve, ink, and press their way to one-of-a-kind patterns, then head home with a stack of handmade paper ready for the holidays.
It’s a creative, hands-on morning with no experience needed, and a gift that keeps giving: every present wrapped in their prints becomes a little piece of art for someone they love.
Saturday, November 14, 10 a.m.–noon
Hughes Children’s Studio (Trail Level), The Bascom, 323 Franklin Road, Highlands
$60 | Ages 7–12 | Space is limited to 10 young artists
Register by Thursday, November 12, at TheBascom.org or call 828.526.4949.
