Youth Peacebuilding Summit: Peer Mediation Invitation 2026

In 2026, PMI brings together 500 + students, educators, and volunteer mentors for one of the largest youth peace-building events in L.A. County.
You’ll join a community dedicated to empowering young people to transform conflict into connection, restore belonging in their schools, and lead with empathy and strength.

• Work directly with student mediators: coach role-plays, observe mediation practice, offer feedback and encouragement.
• Support the event day: help students navigate workshops, facilitate sessions, model constructive dialogue.
• Foster a positive and inclusive campus culture by showing up as a trusted adult who believes in youth leadership.

• Meaningful impact: You’ll help shape the next generation of peacemakers and contribute to safer, more resilient school communities.
• Skills & experience: You will sharpen your own conflict-resolution, facilitation, mentoring, and leadership skills—valuable in any profession.
• Community: Join a collaborative, inclusive team of mediators, educators, and volunteers who lead from any seat.

• You care about youth voice, restorative practices, and creating environments where students can lead.
• You have a facilitative mediation style or interest in coaching and dialogue.
• You’re comfortable working in dynamic settings and can commit to mentoring and supporting students either for the event or in ongoing supports (like Boot-Camps / year-round coaching).
