Youth Pass: 2026 Individual Teen Preliminary Poetry Slam #1 & Workshop

The Youth Pass - Prelim #1 & Workshop provides audience (ages 19 & Under) access to the “Youth Workshop" and “2026 Individual Teen Preliminary Poetry Slam #1: BPL Teen Central Edition.”

In partnership with Boston Public Library Teen Central, Mass Poetry will be hosting a Preliminary Round for our Individual Poetry Slam on Saturday, February 28th from 12:00-4:30 pm at Teen Central located in the Boston Public Library Central Branch (700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116).

• This event begins with two workshops one aimed for teens and the other for coaches and adults (12:00 pm 1:30 pm).
• After the workshops conclude, our Individual Prelim slam will begin at 2:00 pm. The top four poets in this slam will win a cash prize of $50, and advance to the next stage in the competition!

PLEASE NOTE: This pass allows youth (ages 19 and under) to participate in the Youth Workshop and attend the Prelim #1 slam as an audience member. This pass is NOT a registration to compete during the slam; to compete at the Individual Teen Poetry Slam #1, please register
