Since 1947, Youth of the Year has been Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio’s premier recognition program—honoring remarkable young people for their leadership, academic achievement, and service to others. Every finalist represents a story of resilience, courage, and limitless potential.
In 2026, we celebrate a season of growth, hope, and transformation at our annual Youth of the Year Gala with the theme Blooming Bright Futures. Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to the youth who are blooming into tomorrow’s leaders and the supporters who help them thrive. Proceeds directly support Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio.
Matt Bonner (aka the Red Rocket and aka the Red Mamba) will be our emcee. Not only is Matt a former Spurs player; he is a proud Club Kid in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Hall of Fame. After 10 seasons with the Spurs, Matt is not a TV/Radio Analyst with the Toronto Raptors.
