Learn to recognize and respond to signs of mental health challenges in youth. This course equips you with skills to offer support during crises and promote well-being in everyday situations. This is a blended course format, taught by a certified National Counselor for Mental Well-Being instructor. Those that register will complete a 2-hour self-paced online course, followed by 5 hours of instructor-led training (split between two nights). Wednesday, February 25th 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
To receive certification you must complete:
- 2-hour self-paced pre-work
- Both sessions of the instructor-led training
- Post- sessions knowledge check and evaluation
After registering, you'll receive clear instructions from Shannon Seiferth on how to complete your pre-work within the national council portal. This will be sent out roughly 1.5 - 2 weeks prior to the in-person course dates.
