Turn up the heat on creativity at our Melted Crayon Art Workshop! 🎨🔥Join us at the library for a colorful, hands-on art experience where we’ll transform ordinary crayons into stunning abstract masterpieces. Using canvases, vibrant crayons, and hair dryers, participants will watch as warm air melts the wax into beautiful drips, swirls, and splashes of color.
We’ll start by arranging crayons in creative patterns at the top of each canvas. Then, with the help of hair dryers (and a little patience!), we’ll melt the crayons and let the colors flow to create unique abstract designs. No two pieces will look the same—each artwork will be a one-of-a-kind creation!
Along the way, we’ll talk about abstract art and how artists use color, movement, and texture to express ideas and emotions. This program encourages experimentation, creativity, and a willingness to try something new.
All materials will be provided. Dress for mess, as things might get a little colorful!
