YOUTH LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated

Calling all youth, ages 11-13 to join our FREE youth-led, highly-interactive leadership development program designed to empower and engage youth in the Metro-Orlando community. Parents/guardians and youth are invited to learn more about our program.

Register to attend our informational session for YLI participants and their parents/guardians to receive a detailed overview of YLI and to meet and greet each other, chapter officers, and committee members.

YLI will provide boys and girls ages 11 to 13 with an opportunity to develop leadership skills utilizing a “learn by doing approach” via youth-led meeting facilitation, shared roles and responsibilities, decision-making, as well as required community service projects, an environmental project, and final presentations. Sorority members will partner with youth participants in a supportive and engaging way and dive into workshops, discussions, and activities designed to help youth unleash their leadership potential. Meeting sessions and activities will be held monthly until June.
