About this Event
Groove Lab (Youth: 8-12 yrs) is a fusion dance class designed to help dancers ages 8–12 explore rhythm, musicality, and expression through a mix of street styles, jazz influence, and creative movement. Classes focus on building confidence, coordination, and musical awareness in a supportive, age-appropriate environment where curiosity and effort are celebrated. This class encourages young dancers to try new styles, move with intention, and discover the joy of dancing as themselves.
This class will focus on one routine/combo for the month of March to 'Jump' by Kris Kross. Style: Hip Hop.
Liability Waiver:
As legal guardian of the named student(s), I allow participation in the activities provided by Santina Rigano-Lesch, including but not limited to all aspects of dance training. I am fully aware that any activity involving motion, height, or athletic activity creates the possibility of serious injury. I hereby release Santina Rigano-Lesch, including its officers, shareholders, agents, and employees, from any liability to the named student(s), or the person(s) claiming through him/her, arising from injury to the person or property of the above named student(s) occurring on the premises of PNW Dance Foundation, including any event sponsored or sanctioned by Santina Rigano-Lesch, and/or travel to and from such activities.
This release includes but is not limited to any claims of negligence, dangerous condition, latent defect, premises liability, code violation, negligent security, failure to warn, vicarious liability, negligent hiring, negligent supervision, negligent maintenance, or improper/dangerous equipment; it is intended to be as broad as permissible under Washington State law.
I am fully aware of the nature of the activities provided and the possibility of injuries arising from such activities. I further agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Santina Rigano-Lesch, including its officers, and employees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost incurred by them due to the above named student(s) on the premises or during any event sponsored or sanctioned by Santina Rigano-Lesch. I also attest that all information given is factual.
I certify that the student(s) is/are in good health and may participate in activities with Santina Rigano-Lesch. In case of an emergency requiring medical treatment, the undersigned hereby authorizes Santina Rigano-Lesch, to take the named student(s) to a qualified medical or hospital facility for care and treatment.
Media Release:
This Release is made to allow Santina Rigano-Lesch and its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, successors, assigns and licensees to film, photograph and otherwise record or use the named student(s) name, voice, likeness, appearance, actions, voice, conversations and characteristics/mannerisms (collectively, the Media) and use such Media as set forth herein.
I acknowledge and agree that Santina Rigano-Lesch shall be the exclusive owner of all copyright and other rights in and to such Media, as ordered, created and/or commissioned by Santina Rigano-Lesch, and I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally grant to Santina Rigano-Lesch the right (but not the obligation) to utilize the Media, in connection with any and all purposes of Santina Rigano-Lesch, including but not limited to:
a. Marketing, advertising and promotion of products and services;
b. Educational, instructional and informational content;
c. Appearances at conferences, competitions, industry events, and other meetings; and
d. Any and all other content created or distributed by or for Santina Rigano-Lesch.
I agree that any interviews, testimonials or other statements made in the Media relating to Santina Rigano-Lesch, or in writing, reflect my current honest and truthful opinions, findings or experience.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Santina Rigano-Lesch shall have the right to add to, subtract from, create derivative works based on, change, revise, rearrange or otherwise edit the Media. Santina Rigano-Lesch shall have no obligation to use the Media, but may do so with or without any payment to myself or any other person or entity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I hereby release Santina Rigano-Lesch, its successors, assignees and licensees and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, from any claim of any kind or nature whatsoever arising from the use of the Media including, without limitation, any and all claims, demands, or liabilities for invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation (including libel and slander) and any other personal and/or property rights.
I intend and agree that this Release shall be effective as a full and final accord and satisfaction and general release. All controversies or questions with respect to this Release shall be determined in accordance with Washington State law. This Release contains the full and complete understanding between us with respect to the Media and cannot be modified except by a writing signed by Santina Rigano-Lesch.
Booking & Refund Policy:
Groove Lab operates on a drop-in model. Due to the nature of this class structure, all bookings are final and non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes by the registered student, regardless of reason. A spot in class is secured only when booked through the official registration link. Space is limited, and walk-ins cannot be guaranteed entry if the class reaches capacity. If Santina Rigano-Lesch must cancel a class that a participant is registered for, a credit will be issued to the participant to be used toward a future Groove Lab class.
Studio Use & Conduct:
To maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants, the following policies must be followed:
➺ No food or drinks inside the dance studio space (water only). Food and other beverages are permitted in designated waiting areas only.
➺ No candles, open flames, fire, or pyrotechnics of any kind.
➺ No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
➺ Participants must respect shared spaces, including maintaining appropriate noise levels and being mindful of other studio users.
➺ Participants are financially responsible for any damage caused to the studio space, equipment, or property. Charges for repairs will be assessed and invoiced as necessary.
➺ If the space is left excessively dirty, disorganized, or requires additional cleaning time beyond normal use, a cleaning fee may be applied.
Failure to remit payment for damages or assessed fees may result in further action to recover costs, including the filing of a claim in small claims court.
By booking and attending Groove Lab classes, participants agree to these policies.
