Youth Empowered: Development Program by Circles Utah County

Empowering teens for the life they want to lead.
Join us and Circles Utah County, part of Community Action Services and Food Bank, for an 11-week youth development program funded by a grant from the Department of Workforce Services.
Teens will participate in a weekly class on Tuesdays at 12pm in our teen program room C, snacks provided.
At the end of the program, teen participants will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. Citizenship verification required to participate.

Topic 1 Strengths: 5-Year Plan and Pre-Survey
Topic 2 Support: Healthy Relationships, Support Systems, and Consent
Topic 3 Lifestyle: Healthy Lifestyle, Stress Management, and Resources
Topic 4 Mental Health: Emotional Health, Mental Health, and Toolkit
Topic 5 Communication: Healthy Communication and Boundaries
Topic 6 Vision Boards: Vision Boards and Education Options
Topic 7 Education: Education, Resume Building, and Paying for Education
Topic 8 Independent Living pt. 1: Weekly Planning, Transportation, and Meal Planning
Topic 9 Independent Livign pt. 2: Time Management, Prioritizing Tasks, and SMART Goals
Topic 10 Financial Literacy: Budgeting, Savings, and Credit Cards
Topic 11 Celebration: -Self Reflection and Post Survey
Permission Slips will need to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned by the second class at the latest (June 9). Download and print permission slip at this url.
