Youth Electronics Workshop – MakersMinds | Grades 4–6
About this Event
Get your young maker started with real electronics! MakersMinds' Youth Electronics Workshop is a hands-on, 2-hour class where kids in grades 4-6 learn the fundamentals of circuits by actually building them.
Using breadboards, LEDs, potentiometers, capacitors, piezo buzzers, and 555 timer ICs, students will wire up working circuits and walk away understanding how electronics come to life - no experience needed.
What kids will learn:
- How circuits work (voltage, current, components)
- - Reading and building from a circuit diagram
- - Using a breadboard to prototype
- - Making lights blink, buzzers sound, and more with the 555 timer IC
