About this Event

Get ready to create with us this summer with our Movers and Makers and Mighty Makers Summer Camps! Join us for a blend of building challenges, arts and crafts, games, and lots of outdoor play! Our dedicated staff are experts at making summer camp fun, safe, and memorable.

Age range:

Movers and Makers - Ages 5-7

Mighty Makers - Ages 8-11

Campers must bring a lunch and snacks. Food will not be provided. Please ensure your child is dressed for the unpredictable weather!

NOTE TO ALL PARENTS/ CAREGIVERS:

Our camp is designed to provide group programming with a high ratio of campers to staff. Our staff are trained for general camper support, not specialized 1:1 care. For children requiring consistent physical assistance or intensive behavioral support, this includes but not limited to sensory, behavioral, physical or verbal aggression, fleeing/elopement, or inability to participate, parents may need to arrange for their own private support worker, as our program isn't equipped to provide this level of care.

Movers and Makers Camp (Ages 5-7):

Ignite your child's imagination at Schneider Haus' Movers and Makers Camp! Every morning, campers will unleash their creativity in our Maker and Discovery space before tackling exciting challenges in our new outdoor forest classroom and amphitheater. Campers will engineer fairy houses, concoct slime, paint outdoors, and much more! Programming provides a mix of free and structured play, with lots of time to get moving outside, allowing children to discover new interests, make new friends, and use their imagination all day long! Campers must bring a lunch and snacks.

Mighty Makers Camp (Ages 8-11):

Do you have a Mighty Maker who loves building, problem solving and using their imagination to create? Join us at Schneider Haus and explore our dedicated makerspace loaded with craft supplies and recyclables perfect for building your dream machine. Each day campers will tackle a new maker challenge, building, creating and exploring as a team! In addition to challenges and problem solving, campers will have the week to explore our historic site and participate in exciting hands-on crafts like slime making, tie dye, shrinky dink charms and more!
