Where is the edge of self? What does self-care mean in this context?
We will begin with a warm-up that explores this question and grounds us in this core aspect of the practice of contact improvisation.
All gradients of experience with contact improvisation are welcome.
Opening circle and warm-up at 7:30 PM, contact jam to follow.
*You are welcome to come anytime, AND because you have to ring a buzzer to get in, it is helpful to come at the beginning because there are less interruptions.
$15-20 (sliding scale)
If $ is a barrier, talk to us and we can get creative.
Wear comfy non-slippery clothing, it helps to have long sleeves and long pant options. Avoid big buttons, zippers and other hardware.
Park at the far end of the parking lot first.
Wheelchair accessible (just give us a heads up so we can let you in that entrance.)
